    No, the training will help you lose weight and get in better shape, regardless of your current fitness level.
  • Who Teaches your classes?
    Our MMA is lead by Josh U. Otherwise known as Duro, our gym’s namesake. He has a lifetime of competing in and being a champion of various sports including high school wrestling and MMA.   • Am I too old or too young to start training?
    The gym typically has students ranging from 4 to 59 years old. They evaluate children for readiness and recommend seeing a physician if you have any concerns about your physical ability.
  • Do I have to compete?
    No, competition is not required. Some students compete, but many just train for fitness, self-defense, or to learn the martial arts.
  • Are the classes for beginners?
    The kickboxing classes have a mix of beginners and more experienced students, with instructors helping beginners learn the fundamentals. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes offer separate beginner and advanced levels.
  • How much does it cost?

  • What should I wear?
    For the initial free trial, just wear shorts and a t-shirt. Once enrolled, the required attire is a Gi (uniform) for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai shorts with a t-shirt for Kickboxing.
  • What is Muay Thai Kickboxing?
    Muay Thai Kickboxing is a fighting technique from Thailand that uses punches, kicks, elbows, and knees as its primary striking techniques. It is a key component of mixed martial arts.
  • Can you accommodate different fitness levels in the same session?
    Absolutely. Our trainers are skilled at providing modifications and variations for each exercise, ensuring that everyone in a small group session is challenged appropriately based on their abilities.
  • What is your pricing structure?
    Great Question. We have flexible packages to accommodate different budgets and schedules, ranging from single sessions to monthly unlimited plans. We also offer discounts for seniors, students, and members who commit to longer-term programs. A Duro Performance Training membership with private one on one training sessions is most economical program for private training.
  • Do you offer nutrition coaching?
    Yes, in addition to personal training, we have professionals on staff who can provide nutrition guidance and meal planning to support our clients' fitness goals.
  • How do you assess new clients?
    When new clients come in, we start with a comprehensive assessment. This includes evaluating their current fitness level, movement patterns, medical history, and specific goals. This allows us to create a personalized program for them.

    All of our trainers hold nationally recognized certifications, such as from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). They also have extensive hands-on experience working with clients of all fitness levels.
